Overview

The Horn of Africa Youth Network (HoAYN) is a regional coalition of youth-led and youth-focused organizations dedicated to advancing sustainable, equitable, and youth-driven development across East and the Horn of Africa. The Network brings together members from ten countries Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Somaliland, South Sudan, Sudan, Uganda, Eritrea, Tanzania, and Djibouti  creating a platform that amplifies youth voices, strengthens civic participation, and fosters collaboration on regional priorities.

Through advocacy, capacity strengthening, and partnerships with national governments, intergovernmental bodies, and development partners, HoAYN champions youth inclusion in governance, peacebuilding, migration, climate action, and economic empowerment. The Network envisions a region where young people are recognized not only as beneficiaries of development but as active architects of peace, justice, and prosperity for their communities and the continent.
